What it does

As introduced, Bill 26-101 would prohibit insurance companies from factoring the use of pre-exposure prophylaxis in decisions related to the issuance of disability, life, or long-term care insurance policies. NOTE - Provisions of this bill have been incorporated into Bill 26-159, PrEP DC Act of 2026.
