As introduced, Bill 26-471 would include establishing an Office of Special Events within the Office of the Deputy Mayor of Planning and Economic Development and also transfer the Mayor’s Special Events Task Force from the Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency to the Office of Special Events. It would streamline the special event permitting process.
