What it does

As introduced, Bill 26-567 would establish a DC Young Adult Corps Program to provide recent high school graduates and young adults with paid, full-time service placements that support District priorities. It designates responsibilities that include program design and cross-sector alignment to the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Education and designates responsibilities that include participant selection, placement, eligibility and compensation. It would also establish standards for service year placements among other things.
