Illinois Senate Bill 1951: IDNR-GRAY FOX SEASON

What it does

Reinserts the provisions of the introduced bill with the following changes. Provides that it shall be unlawful for any person to trap or to hunt with a gun, dog, dog and gun, or bow and arrow, gray fox, red fox, raccoon, weasel, mink, muskrat, badger, bobcat, and opossum (rather than to trap or to hunt red fox, raccoon, weasel, mink, muskrat, badger, bobcat, and opossum) except during the open season. Provides that, except as specified in the Act, it shall be unlawful for any person to trap or to hunt gray fox with a gun, dog, dog and gun, or bow and arrow (rather than it shall be unlawful for any person to trap or to hunt gray fox), except during an open season. Effective immediately.
