What it does

Altering the definition of "cottage food product" for purposes of provisions of law governing the sale of cottage food products to include nonpotentially hazardous foods, rather than nonhazardous foods, as specified in regulations adopted by the Maryland Department of Health; providing that a home bakery is not required, under certain circumstances, to be licensed by the Maryland Department of Health; and applying certain provisions of law governing cottage food businesses to home bakeries.
