Missouri Senate Bill 1358: SB 1358 - Under current law, the term of probation for a misdemeanor violation is not to exceed two years. This act provides that the term of probation for a misdemeanor violation or municipal ordinance violation is not to exceed eighteen months.
Additionally, this act provides that a person on probation under the supervision of a private entity shall not be required to submit to an alcohol or drug test unless he or she is on probation for an offense involving either alcohol or a controlled substance or if the judge shows good cause for the testing.
This act is identical to SB 439 (2025), SB 1227 (2024), SB 582 (2023), SB 896 (2022), and HB 2248 (2022).
