Missouri Senate Bill 1768: SB 1768 - This act modifies the definition of "firefighter" under the Public Safety Recruitment and Retention Act by adding members of fire departments, fire protection districts, or other fire-fighting organizations, as well as anyone employed by such entities in a clerical or other capacity. Such definition is further modified by repealing language that specifically excludes volunteer firefighters. This act is similar to HB 3480 (2026). OLIVIA SHANNON
