An Act To Require County And Municipal Law Enforcement Agencies To Develop And Implement A Motor Vehicle Police Pursuit Policy By A Certain Date; To Provide Certain Criteria For The Policy; To Provide That A Pursuit May Only Proceed And Continue Into Another Political Subdivision Under Certain Circumstances If There Is No Agreement With The Other Political Subdivision; To Provide That If A Local Law Enforcement Agency Fails To Adopt A Policy, Then The Agency Shall Not Receive Certain Accreditation; To Provide That The Office Of Standards And Training Of The Department Of Public Safety Shall Determine Whether The Agencies Have Implemented A Policy; To Require The Department To Issue Certain Notice To The Agencies For Noncompliance; To Authorize The Department To Issue A Certificate Of Noncompliance To The Department Of Revenue To Withhold Certain Payments And Allocations That Would Otherwise Be Payable To A County Or Municipality Until Such Time That The Department Of Revenue Receives Written Notice Of The Cancellation Of A Certificate Of Noncompliance From The Department Of Public Safety; To Amend Sections 27-5-101, 27-65-75, 45-1-43, 65-33-45 And 99-3-13, Mississippi Code Of…
