West Virginia · 2026 Regular Session
The purpose of this bill is to provide that Commissioners to the Public Service Commission be an elected position; to establish that during the general election in 2026 three commissioners be elected to the Public Service Commission to a term of four years; to modify ballot to include commissioners; to provide that the Governor fill a vacancy in the office of commissioner for the unexpired term; and to establish requirements for the commissioners.
