The purpose of this bill is to create the West Virginia Rural Mobility and Transportation Access Act to expand access to transportation in rural areas of West Virginia by maximizing federal funding, encouraging private, nonprofit, and local participation, supporting innovative transportation models, and coordinating existing resources, without the State owning or operating transportation systems.
