The purpose of this bill is to transfer all interests of conservation districts in flood control dams and similar structures, as well as any associated property and related funds and accounts, to the state Conservation Agency by July 1, 2026. The bill authorizes the state conservation committee to operate, improve, maintain, and construct flood control dams and similar structures and to contract with other entities to realize that authority.
