The purpose of this bill is to establish lung cancer prevention and education; define terms; establish a lung cancer and education program within the Department of Health; allow for grants to be issued to approved organizations; set forth grant criteria; set forth procedure and eligibility for grants; require annual reporting; establish a fund; set forth financial eligibility; set forth medical eligibility; set forth the reimbursement process; set forth a rate for the screening service; and require the Department of Health to administer an education campaign.
